The Evolving Athlete: 10-week Perinatal Therapy group for Athletes & Active Individuals
A trauma-informed therapy group for perinatal athletes and active individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, infertility, identity shifts, and return-to-movement. This supportive process group integrates ACT, trauma-informed care, somatic approaches, and nervous system regulation to help clients reconnect with their bodies, values, and evolving sense of self during the perinatal transition.

Courage in the Unknown: 12 Week Infertility Support Group for Women Trying to Conceive
This 12-week virtual group provides support, connection, and coping skills for clients struggling with infertility. Grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), each 90-minute session includes guided processing and practical exercises to help participants navigate grief, uncertainty, and stress while staying connected to their values.

6-Week Psychoeducational Group for Expecting Moms
Motherhood changes more than your body.
The fourth trimester can bring emotional highs, identity shifts, anxiety, overwhelm, relationship changes, exhaustion, and unexpected challenges — even when deeply wanted and loved.
This supportive and educational group is designed to help mothers prepare and plan for the emotional and mental transition into motherhood with realistic expectations, practical tools, and compassionate community.
In This Group We Will Explore:
Understanding “matrescence and identity changes
Nervous system regulation and emotional overwhelm
Sleep deprivation, stress, and self-care realities
Postpartum relationships and communication
Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs)
Body image, self-compassion, and flexibility
Building a realistic postpartum support plan
Reducing isolation through connection and shared experience

Mindful Moms: 6-week Support and Wellness Group for Moms
This experiential group is designed for mothers of children 10 and under who want practical tools for stress, overwhelm, guilt, anger, and emotional regulation. Rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic awareness, and mindful martial arts-inspired movement, the group helps participants strengthen body awareness, self-trust, and values-based parenting responses. Practices are non-contact, trauma-sensitive, and focused on presence, empowerment, and embodied calm.

There are MANY benefits to group counseling, but to name a few- Groups allow participants to connect with others in a similar phase of life or struggling with similar issues. This can reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness, increase social connection and support, and even improve confidence and self-esteem.

The fee for group counseling is $50 per person per session. For clients who are financially limited, group counseling can be a cost effective way to find support while not adding financial strain.

I accept clients insured with Aetna, and private pay. I can provide a superbill for clients who wish to be reimbursed by their insurance using out-of-network benefits. I also offer sliding scale on and limited basis.
Group counseling often does not fall under covered services with insurance companies, unless the client has a specific diagnosis that is being treated with group therapy.

The length depends on the type of group, but typically groups are 60-90 minutes long. Groups meet weekly for a specific length of time (6/8/10/12 weeks).

For individual sessions, I always allow moms to bring their baby. For in-person group sessions, I ask that babies are left with another caregiver, unless the group is specifically for moms and babies. If you are attending a virtual group, you are always welcome to have baby with you!

While I am bound by legal and ethical codes that require I keep all client information confidential, I cannot guarantee that group members will do so. However, as a group we foster an atmosphere of trust and agree as a group not to share anything that is said outside the group, unless they are sharing their own information and experience.
